Season 1 – Registration Now Open!

Attention all laser tag enthusiasts! We are thrilled to announce that Season 1 of Zone 3 Darwin’s Laser Sports League is now open for registration.

If you have been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to join in on the action, now is your chance. Our Laser Sports League offers a unique and exciting twist on traditional laser tag. You’ll be able to experience laser tag as part of a 5-person team, with the opportunity to develop good communication and technical skills throughout the 10-week season.

What sets our league apart from others is our unique handicapping system. The system automatically grades players on performance and gives each team a percentage handicap based on the experience level of the players. This ensures that all teams have an equal chance of winning, regardless of their level of experience.

Our league is lucky enough to have a number of experienced national and international level players who will be on hand to guide new players. You’ll be able to learn all the tricks of the trade from the best in the business.

League games are played on Tuesday nights from 6pm to 9pm. The season runs for 10 weeks during the school term, with a break for school holidays. The recommended age to start playing is 13 years, so bring your friends and join us for some laser tag fun.

Each game has 3 teams: red, blue, and green, with each team having 5 players and a home base. Players can destroy the enemy bases once each, meaning each team can destroy up to 10 bases per game. You’ll earn 3001 points for destroying a base and 150 points for tagging another player. A team’s score is predominantly made up of points from tags and points from base destruction.

In week 10, the top 3 teams from each grade will play off to determine the winner. The winning team will be announced, congratulated and presented with trophies during the next season.
